Race level Chorus derailleur, from about 1993. This one was released with the Syncros shifting system. Will work with 5/6/7/8/9 speed drivetrains. NOT compatible with 10 speed. It features a unique “A/B” setting, read below for a tech explanation if you’re inclined. Otherwise, assume it’s a standard short cage derailleur!
In the “A” setting, it acts like a “drop parallelogram” derailleur like older derailleurs, and has a max cassette cog of 27t. The “B” setting changes the angle to act as a “slant parallelogram”, with a max cog of 32t (which is very high for a short cage!)
It has upgraded Bullseye sealed bearing jockey wheels…The best of the best for jockey wheels!
Conditon:
Very good condition. It has some cosmetic marks, but great mechanical functioning. Pulleys spin great wiith only minimal wear. Springs are nice and tight.
