Here’s a piece of cycling history.  The 1st series of Dura Ace was released in 1973, and was Shimano’s 1st venture into high end bicycle components (and finally competing with Campagnolo).  The name “Dura Ace” comes from the (at the time) revolutionary material called Duraluminum (which is what many modern bike parts are still made of).  This derailleur was ran under the model name EA-404 in 1973-74, and then EA-100 in 1975-76

Condition:

Mint, nearly new condition.  Hardly a scratch anywhere.  Even the inner cage plate has practically no wear.  Could easily be a new take-off.
