The Regal Girardi with perforated leather and copper rivets & rails is one of the more sought-after signature edition vintage saddles. Luigi Girardi was the founder of San Marco. This is NOT a reproduction, and has a 1989 date code. This has standard tubular rails, which is harder to find in the Girardi which is so often seen with the cast magnesium rails.
Condition
Near mint very lightly ridden shape. Zero scuffs, tears, cuts. Decals and badges very close to perfect. Cover and padding are almost pristine, with the exception of rear corners have dye wear spots (I checked very closely, these are NOT scuffs/scrapes and just from shorts rubbing on them). Rails have light finish wear. Good enough for most show bikes, and countless miles left of riding.
